Return on investment is a financial key index representing the ratio between the expected or actual net return on your investment to the cost of your investment. The resolution of this so call investment can vary from an entire company or product market to a specific campaign, depending on the user. The ROI serves as a decision and performance tool.

(Net return on investment ÷ cost of investment) x 100 = ROI%
